Ontario Simplifying Process to Authenticate Official Documents Such as Birth Certificates Required for International Use

Our government is making it easier and more convenient than ever for Ontarians to authenticate their documents for use outside of Canada.

Ontarians are now able to easily access our document authentication services in-person at four new ServiceOntario locations in Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie and Windsor, in addition to the existing office in downtown Toronto.

With this location expansion we are ensuring that additional government services are provided to Ontarians across our province when and where they need them.

Our government is continuing the work to cut costs and save time for people and businesses who need to access critical government services by delivering quality, easy-to-use solutions that address people’s needs head-on.
