Ontario Investing in Critical Infrastructure in Ottawa

Our government is focused on building Ontario with historic investments in critical highway, road, and bridge infrastructure across the province.

Under the leadership of Premier Ford, we’re investing approximately $425 million toward highway and bridge improvements in the Ottawa area, completing 10 infrastructure projects with another 5 underway since 2018.

We’ve also completed work to replace six out of eleven bridges along Highway 417 in Ottawa, marking an important milestone in our plan to improve highway safety, fight gridlock and keep people and goods moving in the region.

As our population and economy grows, our government is building the critical infrastructure we need for our future.
