Indigenous Economic Development Fund & Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program 2023

Each year, the provincial government launches the Indigenous Economic Development Fund (IEDF) and the Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program (ICCGP), to promote economic development opportunities in Indigenous communities.

We are working with Indigenous communities to create lasting economic prosperity for Indigenous people and communities, representing reconciliation in action.

These programs allow Indigenous communities and organizations to develop infrastructure, create growth plans, and provide lasting employment opportunities for Indigenous people.

Strong communities include supports like employment services, community centres, and child-care facilities which provide opportunities for people to grow in their businesses and their careers, while positively impacting their wellness.
