Building Bridges: MPP Gallagher Murphy Engages with Diverse Faith Leaders to Strengthen Community Support

Hosted in The Neighbour Media Office, we had the opportunity to meet with leaders from various religions in the Newmarket-Aurora community to discuss how we can support their religious needs.

MPP Gallagher Murphy was inspired to host religious leaders from our diverse community in Newmarket—Aurora and learn about their religious needs.

The enlightening conversation that was had with the leaders of Jewish, Christian, and Islamic faiths speaks to our government’s commitment to create the conditions to support religious congregations in Ontario.

I was glad to listen to opinions from the wisest in our community on how initiatives by our Ontario, such as the Anti-Hate Security and Prevention Grant and the Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment Hubs, are giving people more hope as we build our community together.
