This government is proposing the Ontario Made Manufacturing Investment Tax Credit that would lower the cost of investing in Ontario for local manufacturers who are looking to grow and expand.
The government is unlocking the potential of Northern Ontario by committing $1 billion to build the road to the Ring of Fire and other crucial infrastructure that will connect the rich critical mineral deposits in the north with Ontario’s world class manufacturing sector.

This government is moving forward with the most ambitious capital plan in Ontario’s history by investing more than $180 billion over the next decade to build the roads, highways, public transit, hospitals, schools, and long-term care homes that the province needs to support growing families, businesses, and communities.

Working for Workers
Our government is investing $224 million to expand training centres, including union training halls, and leverage private sector union expertise to train moreworkers in the skilled trades.
To help more skilled workers come to Ontario to build a better life, we are investing $25 million in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program so that Ontario can welcome more newcomers with the skills needed to execute the government’s plan to build.
Keeping your costs down
Our government is proposing to expand the Guaranteed Annual Income Support program starting July 2024 so that 100,000 more seniors would be eligible to receive monthly payments, which will be indexed to inflation so that when inflation goes up, so does their support.
We are also supporting those who have fallen on hard times and are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness by increasing the government’s investment in the Homelessness Prevention Program and Indigenous Supportive Housing Program by over $200 million annually to givemore people a safe place to call home.
Better Services for You
To connect you to more convenient care, our government will be allowing pharmacists to prescribe more medications to treat common alignments which may include mild acne, yeast infections, canker sores, diaper dermatosis, pinworms, thread worms and nausea during pregnancy.
This government is providing additional funding in home care, mental health and addictions and in pediatrics. The government is investing over $170 million over three years to improve outcomes for youth leaving the child welfare system and set them on a path to financial independence and a fulfilling career.
