There’s nothing more Important than protecting the safety and well-being of Ontarians. That’s why the government been hard at work building a more safe, practiced, and prepared Ontario.

May 7-13 Is Emergency Preparedness Week in the province, and we want to make sure that Ontario households are prepared for emergencies 365 days a year.
Safety starts with being prepared and having a plan. That’s why we’re asking Ontarians for 3 things.

• Know the risks
• Make a plan
• Get an emergency kit

Understanding what risks exists, making an emergency plan for your home, and building a 72-hour survival kit to keep your household self-sufficient for up to 3 days can make a world of difference when an emergency hits.
